Green party established in N.B.

New Brunswickers will be able to cast their ballots for provincial Green party candidates in the next election.
A provincial Green party was formally established at a meeting in Fredericton on Sunday.
With the NDP presence declining in the province, it's an ideal time for the Green party to be established, said Mike Milligan, the interim provincial representative.
"The NDP are at about four per cent in New Brunswick and so are the Greens. I say that's great. The Green party has never been established in New Brunswick and if we're starting off with four per cent, that's a good thing," Milligan said.
New Brunswick is the last of the Maritime provinces to establish a provincial branch of the Green party.
